Family Church International officially launched in early 2013 with an overarching goal of bringing the Gospel to the northeast United States, and the world.
Rev. Michael Lokietek, senior pastor of Family Church Fredonia, began full time ministry in June of 1987. For over 30 years, he has faithfully led Family Church Fredonia (then Bible Christian Fellowship) as the church continues to experience growth.
In 2003, Rev. Lokietek led a small group of volunteers to Jamestown every week, where services began in a small hotel. In 2004, the church in Jamestown church was made independent, and since then he has successfully started nine additional churches: South Dayton, NY; Allegany, NY; Starbrick, Pa.; Ripley, NY.; Mayville, NY; Erie, Pa.; Wellsville, NY and Corry, Pa.
In June of 2014, weekly meetings began in the work in Burgos, Spain.
The mission of Family Church International is to reach the northeast region for Christ by planting churches and training pastors.
Through mentoring programs, weekly services and a new ministry training center, Family Church International will continue to launch new churches and fill the region with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
